Sachsenhausen concentration camp

Although for many people it is not a pleasant visit, everyone thinks it is essential and does not hesitate to recommend it. The historical interest of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp is beyond doubt.

Itinerary

At 10:00 in the morning we will leave Alexanderplatz behind to take the train to Oranienburg, where we will get off to continue walking to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

 

After a brief introduction, we will see the training yard, the barracks, the kitchen, the punishment cells, the autopsy room and even the crematoriums. Throughout the visit the guide will make us think about the atrocities that the Nazis committed in each place of the concentration camp.

 

After the guided tour of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, we will walk back to Oranienburg station to take the train back to Berlin. We will arrive at Alexanderplatz station in the German capital around 4:00 p.m.
